Jonah Soe Kotee
President
The name Jonah Soe Kotee is a household name for Human Resource practices in Liberia. Inspired by the writings and academic work of the HR leading light, Dr. David Ulrich, Jonah thirsts soared to establish the ALHRP along with Stanley Ford and Faith B. Morris decade to advocate for peoples’ management issues and to set standard for the HR profession in Liberia.
Jonah is a strategic and innovative HR Executive with over 19 years of real-world HR experiences that decodes business and organization vision into HR initiatives, that improve performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. An empowering leader who supports the organization and top managers with a whole outlook and appreciation that human capital is every organization’s greatest asset. A genuine influencer who thrives on tough challenges. A leader who interprets visions and strategies into actionable, value-added goals and Executive search specialist.
Jonah is currently the National Human Resource Consultant at the Civil Service Agency (CSA) Liberia; and the CEO of the Gurus Human Resource Consultancy Group (gurushrconsultancy.com), a leading, legal and ISO certified HR firm in Liberia providing services to local and international clients.
Jonah has a Master in Employment Law from the University of Leicester in the UK; a Master in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Roehampton -UK; a certified and Global Talent Management Professionals (GTML), Three professional Certificates in Strategic Human Resource, Selection and Staffing, Global HR (Cornell University/eCornell); a Diploma Diplomacy and Internet Governance-Deprotonation and University of Malta. Jonah also has a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and Political Science from the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU).

Adolphus is a Senior Administrator and a Human Resource professional with over 15 years of practical experience in administrative management, Human Resource and Supply Chain & Contract Management. He has Demonstrated strategic leadership in the field of Human Resource through the implementation of organization’s policies and procedures that align with the organization’s vision, mission, and core mandates.
Adolphus is currently a candidate for (MPA) in Public Administration at the Cuttington Graduate School in Congo Town- Monrovia, Liberia. Adolphus holds an MBA in Corporate Governance at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), Accra Ghana and a Bachelor degree in Business and Public Administration A.M.E Zion University, Benson Street, Monrovia Liberia. Adolphus has earned several Professional Certificates, in supply Chain and Contract Management at Gonet School of Africa, Sophie Junction Monrovia- Liberia.

Samuel Duo

Samuel Duo is the VP for Grievance and Ethics”
Samuel holds MBA & BBA degrees in Management from the University of Liberia and the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) respectively. He earned Certificates in Human Resources Management and Civic Leadership from Liberia Institute of Public Administration and Wagner College, USA respectively. He is an Alumni of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Inaugural Class of 2014, a flagship program of former President Barack Obama’s Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI). He is the Founder & Executive Director of Calvary Empowerment Team (CET), a local non-profit working with children and youth in Liberia in the areas of Education; Water, Sanitation & Hygiene; Health and Youth Leadership & Development and the CEO of TAWAL HR Solutions. He comes 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management and Administration. His Previous works included the APM Terminal, Lonestar MTN, United Bank for Africa,; Partners in Health, PSI/Liberia, Monrovia City Corporation, Paynesville City Corporation, Management Specialist; Firestone Liberia, Personnel Officer, amongst others.
Marcus Nyaway
VP for Legal
Marcus Z. Nyanway is the current Vice President for Government/ Legal and Ethical Affairs, Association of Liberia Human Resource Professionals (ALHRP). He serves as Head of HR and People Development at Mary’s Meals Liberia. He previously served as Head of Human Resources at Monrovia Breweries Inc., and Human Resources Manager at ArcelorMittal Liberia. He is a challenged driven, lateral thinker with an unperturbed approach to achieving goals.
He has a wealth of professional experience in achievable studies, setting up a site-based job and has acquired great knowledge in labor related laws and procedures/ policies (Liberia and ILO), general Human Resource Management, employee relations, Occupational health and Safety, workforce training and Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Advanced system applications.
He holds a MPA degree in Public Administration- Cuttington University Graduate School, BBA in Accounting- AME University, a BSc in Banking and Finance- University College of Management Studies (Ghana) and is a candidate for LLB at the Louise Arthur Grimes School of Law, Liberia. Sandra Ajong Foretia
VP for International Affairs
Sandra Ajong Foretia, SHRM-CP is passionate about fair and equitable compensation benefits, a holder of a Masters Degree in Instructional Design and technology from Walden University, United States of America, and Bachelors in Human Resource & Labor Management from the American International University, West Africa, the Gambia. She also holds a Higher Teacher’s Diploma in Physics from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon.
With over 10+ years of experience in HR systems, operations and people development across the public, private and INGOs spaces in different countries, Sandra currently serves the Associate Director, Global People Operations— Americares Foundation Inc.
Amanda Grimes Wolo
VP for Administration
T. Amanda Grimes Wolo an enthusiastic and dedicated Human Resources Professional with over 18 years of experience in Human Resources.
Amanda comes with immense experience from the telecommunications industry. With a proven track record in various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, HRIS oracle management, policy implementation and Human Resources Business Partnering.
Her expertise lies in fostering strong employer-employee relationships, streamlining HR processes, and enhancing overall organizational effectiveness. She committed to fostering a workplace culture of inclusivity, growth, and well-being. Knowledge acquisition and sharing are key components of her professional life and as such, she a Connemara Certified Trainer – Career Management, Line Manager as a Coach and Mentoring.
